Where are the many people who disappeared during the events of 1974? Walking through Varosha, I felt more than abandoned buildings and empty streets. There was a silence here that carried stories of people who left in a single moment in 1974. Some never to return, and some never even found after the Turkish invasion of Cyprus.

The clock stopped in 1974. But the shadows never did. On the 1st of April, Cyprus National Day, I stepped across the military green line to no man`s land. Two checkpoints behind me. No turning back. And this was no April Fool’s joke.

Message to the outer space, sacred place for rituals, guidance to water sources, or for another purpose? Practical use? Through previous years many new massive ancient drawings have been discovered.

After the sunset everything erupted in a beautiful madness in Djemaa el Fna square. First call for preyer through the loudspeakers, and so the real action started in the dark with insanely noise from all kind entertainment and activities: storytelling, music, singing, drumming, dancing, shouting, snake charming, monkeys shows and more. If you are looking for chaos, you can find it just here at the night market in Marrakech.

Took a step beneath the stone walls of Cardiff Castle - there lies a story of quiet courage. There I found more than towers, battlements, and grand apartments. Hidden deep within its thick stone walls lies a powerful reminder of the city’s wartime past.

Wandered one day in January 2026 through Cardiff’s past, step by step. The most amazing moment was standing alone at the top of Cardiff Castle. There the wind brushed my face while thin sun rays cut through the clouds, I felt an unexpected clarity settle in.

Hidden beneath jungle vines and red earth, the ruins of San Ignacio Mission tell a powerful story of faith, encounter, and fragile coexistence. Walking among these ancient stones in northern Argentina, I followed the footsteps of Jesuit missionaries and the Guaraní people, where belief, culture, and history once collided - and where their echoes still linger in the silence today.

And it was even in the fog. This day I walked the slopes of Haleakalā in 1987, in the volcanic landscapes and sub-tropical rain forest, the fog wrapped everything in silence – included me. I wondered, could it be something interesting to observe there?

When you stand before the Peace Palace, you feel it: this is where nations come to argue not with weapons, but with words. In The Hague stands the Peace Palace, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks in the Netherlands - lies on the North Sea coast, in the province of South Holland.
