Got yesterday evening a wonderful view over the region of Moss from the top of Skansen - Bjørnåsenbatteriet - Bjørnåsen hill and battery, also called Torbjørnrød stronghold.

This is an artillery position located northeast of the centre in Moss. The battery was one of many forts who were established in the late 1890's as a part of Norway's efforts to break out from the union with Sweden.
